Ruins of an ancient city founded in the 3rd century BC by King Parnavaz I, across from Mtskheta. Was the capital of the Iberian Kingdom. Three cultural layers: 4th–3rd century BC, 3rd–1st century BC, and 1st–6th century AD. Destroyed by the Arab invasion in the 730s.
