Georgia in 10 days: east, mountains and west

Ten days give you enough room for a real Georgia loop: the east, the Caucasus mountains and western Georgia without constant rushing.

Loop structure

Start with Tbilisi and Kakheti, continue to Kazbegi, then move toward Kutaisi. Choose Svaneti for mountains or Batumi for the sea as the final block.

Svaneti or Batumi

Svaneti is stronger for nature and road adventure, but needs weather buffer and a suitable car. Batumi is easier for a relaxed ending.

Where to save days

Do not spend more than 2-3 days in Tbilisi if the goal is a road trip. Add nights near mountains or wine country instead.
